Death Cab for fiver-7" inch

Once there was a boy named Ben Gibbard.

He was in a band called All-Time Quarterback, and then in a band called Death Cab For Cutie.

DCFC put an album out called "Something about Airplanes." As I understand it, this two song EP came between that album and "We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes." There are only 500 hand numbered copies in the world right now, and it is a very elusive EP to get information on.

The music is tender and has that mystery that I think is lacking from the new Death Cab stuff. You can definitely hear the traces of All-Time QB and the roots for the Postal Service in these songs. And while i would never put this into the top stuff for DCFC, it is very cool to hear some more of their older stuff.

File this with the other great EPs this band concistantly puts out.

Wow, thanks for sharing!
I didn't know about this EP.
Ben is a genius! Though I like him more on the postal service.
Did you hear the remix they did for the crib?
It's amazing.
