Change the thought is run by local Denver artist Christopher Cox who works go in the same style as Shepard Fairey. And while the site does host some of his amazing material (including his wildly popular Obama posters) it also serves as a personal blog for him. He guides the readers to cool art works in the form of CD jackets, cloths and website design.

He makes some great posters and recently attended a swag DNC art show with performances from Ben Gibbard, both of which should be reason enough for you to swing by. If not i would have to say you are an uncultured swine.

To them these streets belong...

The DNC has the town on the verge of martial law and the police are being dicks. KSNO wants to show our solidarity and may head down for Thursday, if we can find parking closer than the springs. I will post on the Rage against the Machine show, but i probably will not be in the building due to working for the man.

Didgital journalism has a great story and there are many reports on the Denver post website. My brother over at Submedia is on the ground and getting some good stuff as well.

Usain Bolt is my home boy

Best non American story of the games. Two world records and two golds both by a mile. Plus he is real funny and about the same age as me, which rocks. If you missed him you can probably catch him ripping the U.S a new one in the upcoming relay events.

One day as a Lion-Self titled EP

One day as A Lion is the new side/solo/interim project of Zach De La Rocha and Jon Theodor of Mars Volta. Their name apparently comes from a photo by George Rodriguez which reads "it is better to live one day as a lion, than a thousand years as a lamb." The EP is lo-fi (most likely on purpose) but is fantastic. Stream the single on their myspace.
