Pray for Kate

Fallen Stars Forgotten was supposed to be the big news of the Denver scene. They formed right as bands like Thursday and Taking Back Sunday were signing huge contracts for sophomore albums, and for a while it looked like they may be picked up. What ended up happening was a band implosion, leaving us with an under developed album(Pray for Kate) and memories of a band that sounded like Cursive and Thursday's love child.

The band played their last show in December and just flat gave away this album as a last good bye. While it is admittedly rough, I feel like these guys set the roots for other denver bands like Fear Before The March of Flames to bust out of a location that is not a traditional breeding ground for scremo.
